Taylor Swift – Mean Lyrics 9 years ago
This song was written when she received extremely harsh criticism from a critic on her singing. They told her her career was over, and that it was just going to start falling downwards from that point on.

Since Taylor always turns to song-writing, she wrote a song about it, and made it an amazing song. the song is basically about a bully that always pushes her down, but she's going to become "big" enough so that the bully won't be able to "hit her anymore".

this comment was all my friend and I talked about for a good 1 and a half years. We actualy debated if it was true or not, and I persuaded her to think that it was actually about custard.

Imagine Dragons – Tiptoe Lyrics 10 years ago
I think that this song has a pretty straight-forward meaning and message. To me, these lyrics represented something or someone coming out of their shell, or standing up to something they fear.

They don't see me come, who can blame them?
They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why

this part of the song shows how the others treat the person. As a piece of trash that doesn't deserve their time.

Hey yeah, tiptoe higher

This part shows someone who is slowly (tiptoeing) up to the top (as in, standing up for themselves and getting more confidence about themselves)

These are only MY interpretations

Eminem – Headlights (feat. Nate Ruess) Lyrics 10 years ago
Im pretty sure that this song is an apology to his mom. He is telling her that he regrets writing badly about her in another song of his, Cleanin' out my closet (that he deleted from his track) where he called his mother a few names. So I'm coming home tonight

Well no matter what the cost ... And I was not afraid to die

this part was him technically saying that he wants to come home, no matter what the consequence is. All in all, this song is one of my favourites and I just learned all this information from the lyrics as well as some research. Just wanted to share it.
