| In my perspective this song is about Austin and his parents. He misses his mom dearly, hence the lyrics "I'm gonna miss your face for a long long time" and "The dead just like you will rise". His dad was not a huge part of his life, but still he was a pretty good part in it. His father was always pushing him down and telling him, "You'll never be good enough" and to "just give up" on his music career, but Austin obviously was determined and that pushed him to keep going and doing what he loves. | |
