Very simplistic and strong song In my opinion it's a song about a guy looking back on their past relationship. Starts off with him trusting the girl, thinking she was loyal and innocent. Afterwards coming to realization that she never was, followed by the the hope or perhaps belief that karma will come back around and get her back. Almost seems like other people such as mutual friends also see the wrong doing from this girl as well because even they are upset by her and don't want anything to do with her anymore. The Chorus follows into the guy admitting that she'll be on his mind but he knows she'll never admit that she thinks about him. He also know's that she'll maintain her disloyal version of their relationship story and she won't admit or be truthful about it. Dance all night is in reference to her partying and hooking up with other guys, she does this to fill a void though as she's never able to be alone. She's never had pure love because all her relationships are toxic or end with meaningless love. There's no cure for a girl who's constantly seeking attention from other men and unfaithful. The Weight of Love to me in this situation is the after effect of a relationship. You carry the weight of the relationship as you look back into it and see exactly how it was. You always carry that weight around, no matter how amazing or awful that love was theirs always a bad part of it, which is the weight. |

In my opinion this song is about a couple that has broken up. A man reflecting on what he wants to say to his EX. Overall, the song is about closure and that desire to speak your mind to that person after the relationship is over. Reflecting on a lot of what you know about the other person, the lies, what went wrong and why it never worked. Yet the song conveys all this but projects a bigger desire. Despite him knowing everything that was wrong, the lies and the he still misses her greatly. I think everyone who's loved someone goes through this after some time. You know how that person is and you accepted that perhaps they were awful to you. Yet you still have this desire to see them and tell them how you feel... even though they probably already know what's on your tongue. |

It's pretty obvious what this song is about, however it can be hard to grasp the true feelings and pain if you've never experienced this type of relationship. It's about a man who is in love with this girl. The man loves this girl and she know's it but it doesn't matter what he does to show it. This girl is promiscuous, has a unhealthy lifestyle and is selfish. The man is tough, he can deal with physical pain but this girl is killing him emotionally and mentally. The way she is and the way she treats him is killing him slowly but surely. She's the type of girl who always has a man in her life. She falls in love easily and with the wrong men. This man has become a ghost to her, just there as she constantly overlooks him for these other men. It's clear they had some relationship in the past, perhaps old lovers or a old boyfriend. Either way, he's never given up on this girl and he's always fought for her despite the way she treats him. All he wants is for her to fight for him, to love him like he loves her... selflessly. This is the worst love you can possibly feel, to sit on the sidelines and watch the person you love destroy themselves. I've experienced this love before and there is no happy ending. This is the type of love that changes you and destroys you in the end. |

The song is about the terrible on and off relationship of two individuals. They both have history together and have gone through this multiple times. The guy is clearly in love or infatuated with this girl but for whatever reason only contacts her when he's under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Most people have been in this situation of only hearing from someone they care or love when they are under the influence of a substance. It almost feels like you're being used as a comfort or for sexual means, which is the biggest question... Why do they only call me when they're high/drunk? |

This song is about a Man reflecting on either a past relationship or a recent break up. There's nothing left for them to discuss with their relationship. Both of them have been through this before and everything that could possibly be said or talked about has already been discussed. He's simply reflecting on the relationship with himself. He loves her but now he truly sees how things are and is using his head and not just his heart. He can now see all the promises, talks and things between them for what they truly are. They no longer hold the same value that they once did and he sees them for what they really are. He still thinks about her and and looks for her amongst the crowds. However at the same time, he doesn't really want to see her anymore so he tries to avoid any physical meetings. Somewhere along the way she changed and he realizes this now but he still wonders if he he could rewind to the beginning to stop that change. In the end he accepts that they're done, there's nothing left to talk about because they've been through it all before. She's one of those people in your life that come and go, despite his love for her he's accepted that. Once you accept that there's nothing you can do to change a situation there's little that word's can fix, there's nothing to talk about. |
