I'm shocked that very few people if anyone here are seeing the obvious connection to the 'pandemic'. Obviously there's a real inoculation that's been happening, although the metaphor is a contagion of fear that's injected into society so the literal injection can take place, among other things. The deceiver is the likes of Gates, Fauci, Schwab, the Rockerfellers, and those who seek ultimate control over the world. This plan, or at least parts of it, have been in place literally for decades, at least since the 80s. They have used lies and deception to manipulate us and trick us into being so fearful that we want, nay demand, to be inoculated. They want us to forfeit our sovereignty and give control to the NWO. From Pet to Descending to 7empest to Culling Voices, these are all messages about this deception, a silencing of voices, and the storm that's on our doorstep. |

I don't know why people are dismissing the NWO reference. The song could be a kind of ironic/sarcastic letter to his real son, or he could be the son being told not to worry. I've felt similarly with my family. Waking up to what's really going on is 'looking through the window', seeing what's actually going on outside, yet people tell you to hush and just go back to living normal life, forgetting the harsh outside world and going 'back to sleep' with the rest of the sheep. Counting bodies like sheep, war drums, isolation... Like Fear Inoculum, Maynard knew long ago that this 'pandemic' would happen and propaganda would run amok, leading up to deaths from war and population control. It's not his place to come out and say it publicly, so he uses the poetry and symbolism of music as his warning to the world. The parent of the child in the poem is telling them to forget what he thinks he knows, forget his independence, forget his drive to survive in a mass culling of civilisation and 'save them from themselves' in a world where those who recognise what's going on and call it out are being isolated and ostracised. |

| Sugar is talking about what 'makes the medicine go down'. It's false sweetness, distraction from the real problems of the world. The media is used to propagate this 'everything's okay' mindset to keep people docile, tell them that everything's under control... Meanwhile, the 'kombucha mushroom people' are the hippies who are seeing what's really wrong with society and the machine. They've opened their minds using psychedelics and often take mushrooms and drink kombucha, often vegetarian/vegan. But despite seeing through the bullshit that most people do not, they are seen as penniless, drugged-out hippies who are not grounded in reality, and so "who would believe you?" when they're talking about the corruption and the need to 'stick it to the man'? | |

That first line doe. Pearls & swine is not only a biblical reference (thanks Karmakazi), but also paints the picture of how he sees his ex-lover — something like a pig in jewelry. The saying "you can't put makeup on a pig" comes to mind, as he sees this person as distasteful and a painful mistake. 'Bereft of me' is then saying "you are not what's lacking from my life, I am what's lacking from YOURS", showing that he is fine without her. "Too close to you I feel" is then an admission that he did get a little attached, which is likely why there's so much bitterness in the lyrics, and he is trying to escape and detach by putting physical distance between them. The whole song is saying that he is much grander and more valuable than she could ever imagine, while his role to her seemed to be little more than some cheap chauffeur. He obviously has a lot of bitterness towards this person, and the song is a ballad proclaiming that he is self-defined and complete without her, and is not some toy or tool for this woman's cheap thrills. |

@[Warholkolic:34253] Adding to this, I think 'I don't wanna be another bullet hole In the exit sign on your road' means he doesn't want to be one of the people kicking the friend/lover out, because they probably have to kill them to keep the secret. The exit sign on their road is death -- where they get off the 'high way'. Him being another bullet hole is working with the others to kill the friend/lover, and he doesn't want to do it but he knows he must to protect their inner circle. The deafening void of the sunset is the withdrawal from their favourite drug. And they feel like empty shells without it. |

This is either Manson's confession or his exposee on the Hollywood child trafficking (see Pizzagate and Adrenochrome in Hollywood). The celebrity religion of Saturn ("my god"), invited to eat the young, the bottomless celebrity scar... To me, it seems like Manson is/was in a relationship or good friendship with someone, and there was a discrepancy in the relationship about the morality of ingesting child-sourced adrenochrome, for which I think 'sunsets' in this song is a codeword, and the hard metal is the needle. It sounds like one of them is scarred by the practice (terror in the teardrop), and possibly that they need other drugs to cope with the reality ("make it snow"). "No matter how cold you are" either means the person is the evil one, or they have gone cold in the relationship after finding out the truth. The 'smile like a rifle' probably means they try to cope/pretend with a smile, but there is the very real threat of them 'triggering' to do something, like go out and tell people the truth. "Cast out now, no fire to smell" probably means a person has been banned from the Saturn religion, and can no longer be a part of the cultish practices. The rest of the song seems to talk about the world ending or changing drastically, which has links with this elite circle. |

I think this is song is a general analogy for life -- the river of life. It starts with confusion, and is known from the start that it's just a temporary transit, but you're really just going along for the ride. No direction but to follow what you know, No direction but a faith in her decision, No direction but to never fight her flow, No direction but to trust the final destination. This seems to me about the lack of flexibility in society, from education to laws to jobs to even how you're expected to die. In the short, confusing ride we've happily fallen into, it's just better to go along with things than resist the current. What choice do we really have? Coming from a long line of people before us, we just have to trust that we're all going the right direction. |

My interpretation is that this song is about internal conflicts; being somewhat forced to choose between his lover and his own mother. He has much wealth from his music, but values the person he is talking about in higher regards. Success with his music drives him from his mother and towards a 'darker' life that the lover girl seduces him with. The person supposedly changed him, and drew him away from his mother and her religious lifestyle that she had imposed on MJK. She helped him out of an emotional black hole, and he ended up in a carnal relationship with her. She could potentially be an Indonesian girl from Jambi who had troubles with immigration ("...they'd take you away..."). He also says he is 'divided', in this case between his mother and his lover. At the end, he repeats 'breathe in union', reminiscent of sex; then he decides to choose his mother over the girl who had dragged him away from her. He calls her a poison-spitting leech; a money-burning manipulator, and someone who is in the way of being close to his mother. |

This song isn't about drugs at all... As people have already said, there are 46 chromosomes in human DNA - the song is about evolving to having an extra two chromosomes, explaining the 'shedding skin'. When he says "I", he is talking about us as an entire, and unified, race. He's talking about people clinging to being the same old repetitions of classic human behaviours, and not allowing ourselves to properly better ourselves as a race (picking scabs - stopping the 'healing' process). My interpretation of the shadow symbolism is that we have to embrace the darker parts of ourselves in order to see the light; to be conscious of our destructive paths so we can aim for a better day. It could also mean a temporary sacrificial act to secure a long term improvement (stepping through my shadow, coming out the other side...) |
