| I was struck by the lyrics of this song a few days after my first child was born. I had known the song for a long time and it wasn't exactly a special song to me. But now the lyrics were suddenly 100% applicable to the brand new and immensely intense feelings of love I was having for my newborn baby. Even now, years later, I still think the person who wrote this was writing about their newborn, not their lover. | |
