LOL SergeantP. I give you an A for effort. This song is clearly about questioning Christianity. The best line is "Send forth your lamb to the slaughter..." The whole notion of the trinity is ludicrous just like Christianity is. I never understood how one can have blind faith in something with no historical context. |

This song can really be interpreted in lots of ways but for me it's about the sadness that always seems to exist as we go through life. The sadness is "never over" and will always exist so it's best to just enjoy the present and try your best to keep the despair at bay. Otherwise you'll look back and realize that you missed out on truly being happy. Do any of us secretly say a little prayer that we won't wake up after we fall asleep? |
