| Not everyone is addicted to drugs. Mitch begins the song with "Your all slaves" I would like to think that his song has a more sadistic meaning to it. The government hand in hand with mass corporations have created a prison for that is totally invisible to the population, but it is there. If you can't get anything and everything you want, but the people that are governing always get what they want. It is unjust, and you are being governed by criminals. You are essentially a slave to the government and mass corporations. Why can't people see this? Also the word substance doesn't specifically mean drugs. Implying that you are a slave to substance could mean that you are addicted to something, but that something could be anything i.e wealth, beauty, drama, food. Hence the term Shoppaholic. | |
