| I really like this song, and it can mean different things for individual listeners I think. For me, it was about the support of friends, family or a spouse, and having the faith that they will have your back when needed. I came to realize that for Christians, this could definately be about God as well. I dont quite remember, but I seem to remember that Ben had some medical issues and was perhaps struggling with alcoholism, and I am thinking he might have found faith in God when battling his issues. So on one hand, this could be a very personal song for Ben if my memory aint off, and at the same time I think these lyrics can apply to so many other people and situations, which is amazing. | |
