The Tragically Hip – The Bear Lyrics 3 years ago
Definitely told 1st person by a Grizzly Bear. Lyrics are chilling and funny. Music has a great creepy quality. With my belly full I intended to get something done. It was all over for you and what's his name. Carmalized onion. Fantastic.

Jethro Tull – The Story of the Hare Who Lost His Spectacles Lyrics 5 years ago
One of Jethro Tull's most underrated songs. Not the best song for discussion on this site, but, outstanding nevertheless. Ian Anderson did not perform the vocals on this song. The one song in their entire catalog, I'm nearly positive of this, that he did not.

Jethro Tull – Summerday Sands Lyrics 6 years ago
Another of the top 5 most underrated Jethro Tull songs (trust me, I'm not an expert on much but I am on this band). God, I love this song. The only thing I have to add as far as the meaning goes is that a somewhat recurring theme is Ian Anderson's lyrics is a woman just barely escaping his figurative grasp. Off the top of my head, "Later, That Same Evening", and "Budapest". Although not sure if the woman in this song is symbolic.

Jethro Tull – 17 Lyrics 6 years ago
One of top 5 most underrated Jethro Tull songs. Not sure I have much to add on the meaning, other than the fairly obvious. A young man longing for the days of carefree non-assimilation and beginning to sense immortality and rules that have to be complied with. The "cakeman" is a reference that is lost on me.

@[puzzud:27932] Although your comments are nearly nine years old, they were spot-on I think. Thanks for posting.

Puscifer – Dear Brother Lyrics 12 years ago
This seems to be simply a song of reminiscence. The old partying days, with "donkey punch" probably being a reference to intravenous drug use of some kind. Drug users often make an affectionately covert name for their drug use (we used to call it heroin "Quagmire"). Guessing they were doing heroin with perhaps a splash of crystal meth. A lot of Aenima by Tool seems to me to be alluding to opiate addiction and that was written when it was most likely actually taking place as opposed to this song's retrospectiveness.
