Wow.....I had a similar experience with a woman I once was close to.....I could not see her face. Finally found a photo of her....but like Gord said: "I'll be damned if I recall her face"........isn't that weird? |

I was thinking the same exact thing....I saw him in 1978 and he ended the concert (after his curtain call) with this song.....It runs through my mind a lot...I can still hear it in my head like it was yesterday. Fabulous song. |

I saw him at the Santa Barbara County Bowl in 1978........(my girlfriend stood me up....but I went anyway).......I was very young back then and even though my girlfriend hurt me, I still had a great time listening to Gord. I remember thinking that he was just awesome. He ended the curtain call with Carefree Highway....what a song!
I'm glad to see he's still out there performing. |

I won't begin to try to explain what the artist is feeling here, but I just absolutely love the term "Summer side of Life".........Maybe you have to be where I am now, in the Late Autumn side of Life to fully appreciate the Summer side of Life.
To all those in the Summer side..........I have one word of advice: Enjoy life......treasure every moment. |
