This song is about someone who believed they had finally met their soul mate. 'I knew who you were it was perfectly obvious I was uncomfortable playing it cool But I feel like I have always known you' Something about the stranger raptured a sense of familiarity within the singer, which measured up to their ideal partner. However, the singer's lack of confidence and reserved tendancies caused a shyness within, which overwhelmed their ability to reveal to the person how they really felt Although the singer sensed a deep connection with the other, years of enduring the routine of loneliness forbade them to act and as a result made them 'to go miss my moment' Such feelings are rare, so, my advice to the anyone who has experienced such encounter- don't give up cos chances are the other felt it too.
