I've just found my "ocean's daughter" after not seeing her for nearly 6 years... She still seems to be the free spirit that she always was, but she also seems to have softened a bit, so we will see :) Her and I's history was short but stormy and tempestuous, but maybe this time around it will be a little bit more stable Seeing her brought out alot of feelings/emotions in me, but I just have to take it easy and let it flow :D |

Maybe he is afraid of emotional closeness/involvement with a woman? I say this coz I sure as hell am and I really identify with this tune and in fact I've said this to more than one woman... "It's important to me That you know you are free 'Cause I never want to make you change for me" And I tell myself I say it coz it is "sweet and cool" to let the woman know she is free and that she doesn't have to change, but.... maybe I say it more to protect myself? Yep, I'm kind of a complicated fella... |

Surprised there are no comments for this one... I have to say that I can really identify with a lot of these lyrics. Especially these 2 verses: "You're a creature of habit, run like a rabbit Scared of a fear you can't name" Maybe I kinda know this fear that I can't name, but I'm not exactly sure.... And this verse: "The women are lovely, the wine is superb But there's something about the song that disturbs you " Yes, lovely women are very nice, but they don't really full-fill the soul |

The brass/horns in this tune are so damn cool, and they are an expression of his feelings/emotions... For example at 2:14 they show/express his joy/excitement at seeing her and being with her, and then towards the end, at 3:20 they show/express his sadness/regret that they can't really be together... |

This tune has a very "dream-like" feel to it, and there is basically alot of things within this tune that are revealed as some kind of "truth" and/or "hope", like... 1. we all have these kind of dreams/feelings ie.
