I think this song is about someone using someone else for sex. They are misleading the person and making them think they love them when they don't. However, the person has a feeling they are being used but doesn't care. They just want to forget everything, live in the passion and feel loved/desired in that moment. They want to forget all the problems they are suffering from. "Suddenly my eyes are open, Everything comes into focus, oh. We are all illuminated, Lights are shining on our faces, blinding.
