Plus ca change
Plus c'est le meme chose. The capitol letter changes it to Plus it's the same thing instead of more it is the same thing. Then again the more that it changes the more it stays the same. |

Jake E. Lee is amazing and I was named after him. The singer's great I think that the only reason that this group didn't make it was because they came during the grunge music era. |

Only one person so far huh? This isn't that bad a song I don't know why Gary Cherone hates it now. |

It is a love song written by Geddy Lee and not Peart. That's rare. |

Rush – 2112 Lyrics

Caress of Steel was a great album but, it was a good thing that it was a failure. It opened the door for Rush to tell Anthem records to stick it so they could do whatever. If Caress of Steel was a big hit, what would it have been like during the keyboard phase? |

Rush – Something For Nothing Lyrics
|
I always thought 2112 was overrated. 2112 itself is good but, all the songs on side two are filler. I think that Caress Of Steel had much better short songs + The Necromancer than 2112. I'm thinking that 2112 and The Fountain Of Lamneth are a tie though. Still, did these guys put out a mediocre album before 2002? No! |

Rush – Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres Lyrics
| 10 years ago
|
They both have there advantages. Cygnus X-1 had that bass intro but, Cygnus X-1 Book II was 18 minutes of no filler. It's a tough call but, I vote for book II. Nice Bb5 note on Cygnus X-1 by Geddy though. |

This is not by Sting it is on The Police's Synchronicity album. Although he did write the song. |

Thank god that the lyrics are in the cassette or else I doubt anyone could have figured out all he was saying. The chromium dioxide cassette of this album sound phenomenal. |

Mozart The song takes its intro and ending guitar riff from Mozart's Alla Turca: Allegretto in A minor (1783). |

Rush – Tom Sawyer Lyrics

Hudsterboy, Neil Peart is at least a thousand times smarter than you. So I'd shut the hell up and take a look at yourself before you get all judgmental. These lyrics are far beyond anything you could ever right. Just look at Cygnus X-1. Tell me that these guys suck. It's arrogant fools like you that kept this great band from mainstream press. Unlike what you probably listen to these guys aren't womanizers. |

I'm sick of all the "die hards" saying that this song sucks. Although, Rush does have better work than this song. Can we all just agree to disagree? |

Most of Presto has a thin sound to it but, this song is definitely an exception. Brilliant music and lyrics. Although with Rush, that's pretty standard. |

I can't believe that brought this back for the Clockwork Angel tour. I'm going to see them but, it's strange why they're pulling so much off this album. It must be near the end. |

The last great Rush song since Counterparts. Test For Echo was largely forgettable but, not bad. |

Rush – Caravan Lyrics

This is the best they can do now? I'm one of the hugest Rush fans and like all their mood changes but, everything Vapor Trails and after is mediocre and anyone who disagrees is kidding themselves. The live show aren't over but, the music is. There albums used to be different! Moving Pictures and Signals for example. Vapor Trail to now has sounded exactly the same. |

This single should have been bigger. Does Geddy even play the bass on this song? Seems like a good idea to open with the bass heavy Distant Early Warning then not play it the next two tracks. I know he doesn't play it on Red Sector A. |

As magicalrush said, this song had to grow on me but, it did grow on me. It may be behind 2112 (barely) and Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres but, it is a classic song nonetheless. Van Halen and Led Zeppelin haven't made me think this hard about my own life. |

I know this song too! It just seems poppy but, not in a good way. The whole second side of "Roll The Bones" didn't really do it for me. Side one was pretty good though. |

Since these are glam artists and not deep people, I assume that this song is about hanging out with the boys and going for a night out on the town and not about overworking yourself and being told to have fun. |

I know what Neal was going for but, it just comes off as cheesy to me. This is the only song on Hemispheres I don't like. Fantastic album. The Broon's Bane intro on Stage Left was decent though. |
