| This song is a personal song to me. It was the first song I heard after I found my boyfriend dead at the house we just bought a week before. I flipped on my i pod and there it was as i curled up in front of the fireplace as i cried my heart out to our shattered dreams. It reminds me of the relationship we had, in lieu of his VP job, which i despised, and how I felt when I came home from working a double shift in a local ER department and finding him face down, still in his gym clothes, in the hallway, cell phone in hand. He had been there for about 15 hours. He died of a massive heart attack at 42, so "Can I watch as you disappear here?" Since then his family has become very distant and does not even acknowledge me when we encounter each other in public. I love you Andy and miss you and maybe someday we will be together again. | |
