This song is about Jason Voorhees. Jason lived under water for a long time, people think he doesn't have a heart cause he's a serial killer but they're wrong, he loves his mother. Every where Jason goes in Manhattan is a valley of death. Jason was resurrected by lightening traveling through a metal rod in the middle of his chest. He didn't ask for this curse and he often appears as a premonition or ghost like to his victims. Also he's a freak so he doesn't like side shows. And the line about staying home with the flu is most likely an extreme example of how straight edge Jason is, even if you lie you're going to die. |

Everyones interpretation of this song is wrong. This song isn't about scorpios or moving to america, it's about a tournament in a distopian future world, where young adutls are chosen by lottery to compete against eachother. It's annual event in which one boy and one girlfrom each of the twelve districts (January, February, March...November) compete in a televised battle to the death. 11 of the 12 districts live in poverty, which ever region wins gets to live in wealth for a year. The Character in the song is Mr. November, and he is friends with Mrs. November, when they were children they would play in his room pretending they were contestants in the event."This is nothing like it was in my room." The reality of the game is much different than make believe. The English own all the regions and are waiting for him to get dress in his best clothes, they are taking him to the battle grounds. There they inject him with nano machines to track him and follow his vitals in the game, giving him blue blood. He is the great white hope for his home town, in school they'd hold none lethal tournaments after he won the cheerleaders would pick him up and carry him around. He wants to believe in fate, this game is all he's ever wanted he use to dream about it when he'd sleep in late. Now he is on the battle field and doesn't know what to do. He tries to keep his head clear but he keeps thinking of Mrs. November. He doesn't want to fuck them over. He's Mr. November. |
