The bits where he is singing about Jesus, and stuff like that, are sarcasm to me. I personally think this is a rejection of Christianity. Just my opinion. |

This is definitely, a rejection of religion. However it can be confusing as the song takes both an Atheistic approach and an Agnostic approach. It rejects the notion of an afterlife. "And when you die, the only kingdom you'll see is two foot wide and six foot deep." This is a very Atheistic outlook. The Agnosticism comes through in: "I'll bow for your king when he shows himself". I am Atheist but I can see how this song may confuse people at times. But it is no where near as confusing as crooked young xD |
