this song rules! to me its about the glory days with someone special, trying to make life worth living even tho youve both had your share of heart aches, how ppl can really wound you sometimes and make you feel lost but theres nothing like finding someone to be lost with, its about going out on a cool summer night and remembering a similar night in the distant past with your babe, your whole lives ahead of you, glorified by what was at that moment yours and no one could take away. and now ppl telling you to stop dwelling on the past and "theres plenty of fish in the sea" but the reality is there will never again be a time or place or a moment like the one you shared with that person and it cuts you just a little bit. |

Am i the only one who thinks this song is about doing meth? when your coming down one of the ingredients "chloroform" seeps through your pores and you stink of it, and it freakin sucks and its painful hence the "hurting so much more to stay alive" line, and "It’s past 3am and I'm still far from sleep, and this is a habit I can’t break" and the relationship troubles, its a sad one but its a good one! =) |
