Wow, I always thought this song was about him being gay. "Growing up when I need to compromise When I've had enough twenty years and I realize" I thought this line was about when he realised he felt different and had to compromise to fit everones expectations of him because people expect you to be straight "When you've had enough and you need somebody to know When you're looking tough but you need a way to let it go" And I thought this bit was about how hard it was to keep it a secret and now he needs to say. I thought overall it was a song about him liking a guy and wanting to be with him but because nobody knew or wanted him to be gay then he felt the only way he could love this guy was to be a family member. Also possibly that the guy he liked wasn't/ dind't want to be gay. |
