| Active Child – Playing House Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I like to think this one is about two men in love, afraid to admit to themselves or each other. The structure of the lyrics works very well if you interpret it this way. There is a suspense, what is it that is buried underneath, why does the other person have to be ready for it, why is there a need for the singer to say "I know we'll be fine"? It seems as if it's something ifrightening, but also important and good, "all good things in time". And then the singer confesses, that what is buried underneath is the fact that "you are all I see". | |
