@[SuperSloth:36087] The song feels like a bit of a blue collar anthem. He doesn't need snooty high society, because his and his peers love each other. And that's fine, and I don't even disagree with the sentiment. The problem is that he essentially crashes a wedding with the intent to troll his ex girlfriend. Even if invited, he plainly admits to intentionally showing up dressed for haggling at a flea market rather than adhering to the dress code. He then proceeds to disrupt the reception and have a tantrum, rather than handling their breakup like an adult. That's what I mean by belligerent indignation. He was clearly indignant. He was clearly belligerent. |

The song is about trying to justify belligerent indignation. This cat shows up to a wedding dressed up like an extra on Hee-Haw, and then tries to make the bride, groom and guests feel bad about themselves for having made life choices that differed from his own. With all of that charm, I can't imagine why she didn't choose to marry him instead. |
