If this song is meant to be from the perspective of a christian saying the words to a fellow believer, then it is very inspiring and beautiful. If it supposed to be God speaking then I think Third Day has missed it by a mile. God can't stop the rain? Such an impotent diety is of no comfort to me, and certainly doesn't fit the view that scripture has of God. |
