This song is certainly very bizarre and the lyrics are very random. However, I believe it's about the Rev helping a friend (or his metaphorical brother) kill himself via drug overdose. This is made particularly obvious in the first verse. The next time it is made obvious (if you do your research) is in a later verse: "Saket has some better things to hug you by my time" For those who do not know, Saket is the Sanskrit word for Heaven. So what he's most likely saying here is that his friend will be happier in heaven. |

This is a bit of a more complex song to understand. However, I think it's about modern society. "'Cuase I'm only a crack, in this castle of glass, hardly anything left, for you to see" The castle of glass represents society. Huge beautiful, and supposedly strong, However, there are cracks in it. The cracks represent all of those bad people in the world. Criminals, druggies, etc. There are so many cracks in the castle that there's barely anything left. There are so many bad people in society, there's barely any good left. |
