I think both of you guys are throwing in your own jealousy or resentment towards the guy all the girls like. Perhaps it brings up pain and resentment from your youth. |

I love this interpretation. It was my son's go to song before his suicide at 19 when his girlfriend cheated on him, begged for him back and betrayed him again. Nicks spoke to his heart. It's hauntingly beautiful. |
