Paul McCartney – Dear Friend Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Someday it will all come out, till then, how many 100% straight guys write songs for and about each other like Lennon/McCartney did? They were each others muses, get over it. :) Is it really such a horrible thing if they were in love? |
The Beatles – Yellow Submarine Lyrics | 11 years ago |
This song and Octopus's garden are about living in a world where you can be yourself and free and safe from the judgements of the real world. Liverpool is a Maritime city. The boys knew all about the way's of the sailor's and merchant seamen. Not brain surgery folks on what these songs are about, but the real world (everyone in these comments) will never figure it out in their self imposed bigotry and ignorance. |
Paul McCartney – No Words Lyrics | 11 years ago |
"You Want To Give Your Love Away And End Up Giving Nothing" Paul to John about Yoko "I'm Not Surprised, That Your Black Eyes Are Gazing." I almost want to say this part is Yoko, she did lots a poker faced gazing at the Beatles in the studio. Paul is not surprised that Yoko looks at them like she knows everything. |

Paul McCartney – No Words Lyrics | 11 years ago |
"I Wish You'd See, It's Only Me, I Love You." Paul said when John and him were arguing and it was getting too heated John would stop and pull his glasses down and look him in the eye and say "It's only me". I think that Paul wanted to give Denny some writing credit ($$) and to keep people of the trail. Can't have people wondering just how many songs are about John, you know. |
