Obvious meaning; this song is just like a "Part Two" of Cowboy Casanova. I also think it could have been inspired partly by Linda Ronstadt's "You're No Good". Carrie even sings it in a similar style. |

This song kind of reminds me of "Independence Day" by Martina McBride, where the woman burns the house down with her drunken, abusive husband inside. One difference here is that instead of taking matters into her own hands, she seems to be calling on God to judge the man by sending a tornado. This song as a whole is kind of dark and spooky; not something I would have expected from Carrie Underwood. |
