Hope you're still with us - the path of destruction I caused while I was using/drinking finally made me choose to stop. I'm almost 18 months sober and just now starting to feel at peace. It took a long time to let go of regret, and to stop myself from trading my now for obsessing about past and future. I've posted previously and have to keep my past close to my heart as a constant reminder of what I do when I use. I choose to be happy now. It's a simpler life without much drama but I'm no longer placing myself or others in harm's way. |

This song reminds me of waiting for the "miracle" of working the AA steps to occur. The "miracle" does happen, and it comes and goes if you don't keep the steps (and your history) close to your heart. Great truth in all of Seether's songs, one of the great, insightful bands. Their use of anger in their lyrics and music is awesomely powerful. |

Just wanted to say that I love this song. It has been a big help and solace during my recovery. Also - I'm amazed that this website has a nearly 8-year thread of persons commenting on this song in a very respectful manner. Almost restores my faith in humanity, and it's a great example of a constructive way the internet can be used. Thanks. |
