I think this song is about people how reunite because the death of one of their friends, but they were all evil and even if they try to bury the past, none of them can forget what happenned, and they pretend to be good and honest but that's not true ("cause we are all a bunch of liars..") Or, the "me" that sings the song is the one that died. And he (i assume is "he" because the singer is a man) sees everybody together again but even if they haven't seen each other in a while, they remain evil and selfish. "if this is a coronation i ain't feeling the love" perhabs the guy tought that this would be his special moment but all his friends are there without real love. "i was killing before killing was cool" for some reason i think the dead friend killed himself but he did it not because of the now popular tendence to do it, but because he really felt there was not other choice. in the You'll never take me alive... i think (may sound stupid..) is the past talking... that they must learn to survive with it because it will never go. (I'm not sure of what pronoun use with the past) but... sometimes lyrics have no connection. ... who knows? |

First... H.I.M 's so freaking great! now... i really think this song is about a third person in the relationship. I mean, he or she is in love the boy or the girl, like, really in love... but he/she is just a friend or is even meaningless. I think of this because sometimes Ville sings "He" and "She" and then "you". i think it says that the boy or the girl was everything and was perfect for the third one, but they will be never be together, because the love of the couple separate them and this is destroying the third person.Also, perhabs he/she is friends with the couple of the beloved one... and this is more heartbreaking.
