| Kansas – Nobody's Home Lyrics | 6 years ago |

A requiem was never sung, no elegy was read No monument was carved in stone in memory of the dead For those who made this place do not remain They feel no pain A stranger fate was never known The Christians that originally built the west have no representation left? Their legacy simply faded away without a fight. |

| I think the writer was being a bit disingenuous, the lyrics don't really support sci-fi. It more closely supports a one world order takeover and references to a later rebellion against it being likely. In that case the father is either dead and reaching out or it's an angel giving the message. The reference to the church also fits this as it's likely a compromised apostate church. | |
