ok that being said, i had just had a bad breakup, and i was fired up with anger, so i went for a run to let off steam and clear my head. this song came on my ipod at the perfect time. it was clear i had to ERASE him out of my head and REPLACE with something else. "ooh, i'm better off now" it really helped me to let off steam and forget about him. yeah ! :) |

| well i don't know what the song is about but i think the lyric "i can't hold my breath anymore, i stopped sinking and learned to surf" means making the best out of a bad situation. when you;re tired of drowning in sorrow, learn to surf, or make the best of it. idk that's all i got from this song... don't even know if that's right. BUT i do know that the guitar is awesome and it has a really good melody and rhythm. :) | |

this song is about this guy's ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend. he wishes he didn;t care that shes moved on, but he does. "i bet you've..shared all your secrets i thought were for me" so sad :( "i guess by now he's called you lover, turned into that other guy i used to be" i can totally relate. because when your ex moves on to someone new, you think about all the little things they used to do and wonder if they still do them with this new person. :( |

This is an amazing song. period. every lyric fits perfectly together. it just makes sense. it describes the relationship between me and someone, we dated years ago and it didnt work out, then recently we started talking again and one day he posted this song on my wall. it all became clear when i listened to it. we couldn't fight our feelings anymore. so i got in my car and sped to his house, i "crashed through his door" and the rest is history... <3 "Cause I feel so secure when we're together. You give my life direction. You make everything so clear" it's true. i feel completely at ease with him and everything just makes sense. "even as i wander i'm keeping you in sight" i am in collee and he is still in high school, so this lyric really gets to me, because even though we can't be together, he's always in the back of my mind. we might date other people but we wil always be attached to each other and have a special bond. <3 this song means alot to me. |
