The Goo Goo Dolls – Hate This Place Lyrics 13 years ago
It's not about a physical place, it's about a place where he's at in a relationship, you can clearly gather that from the lyrics. The majority of Goo songs are about a relationship, or something to do with life, and Hate This Place is no exception.

The Goo Goo Dolls – Already There Lyrics 14 years ago
The song is about growing up too fast, and not the kind of too fast where you have so many responsibilities at a young age, the kind of too fast where it all flew by very quickly and you're looking back at your whole life so far and wondering how it could have gone by as fast as it did.

I can relate to this song as I'm sure MANY people can. Have you ever sat around and thought about when you were younger? And all things you used to do with all your friends? I know I have. I'm 20 now, and honestly, I can't believe how fast 20 years has gone by, it literally feels like a blink of an eye now. And like how it says in the song, things were simpler back then, and getting up was fun because you didn't have responsibilities when you younger, life was so easy.

The Goo Goo Dolls – Fallin' Down Lyrics 14 years ago
"Do you know where you wanna go? I ain't got time for you now. Do you think that I'll ever be? 'Cause all I ever wanted so far gone, and if I had my chance I'd go along."

I think what is being said here is, "Do you know if you want me or not? I'm sick of waiting around, I don't have time for this, and do you think that I'll ever be what you want?" Everything he's ever wanted has just come and gone and never lasted long enough for him to enjoy it, and if he ever did get the chance with this girl, he'd just go along with it, never question it because he wants it to last.

The chorus is easy, he's simply falling in love with her, and he wishes that she would "fall down" and be in love with him.

"Do you see what you do to me? You ain't got time for me now."

He's simply asking her, "Do you see what you put me through? The up and downs, the confusion, and now you don't have time for me?" It was fine when he didn't have time for her because she kept playing with his emotions and feelings. But now she doesn't have any time at all for him, he misses the ups and downs I think, because at least then he was getting some of her attention, though it wasn't great, it was still something to him. And yet still, if he ever got the chance, he'd still go along.

That's what I think anyway, or kind of think. Love this song!
