Foo Fighters – Walk Lyrics 12 years ago
I think you are on with your meaning Salpshot. Every time I hear this song and he sings "learning to walk again, learning to talk again" I wondered if he wasn't talking about starting over after Kurts death...

It's definitely a song about surviving. Something just dawned on me... could he be trying to give the solution to Kurt not to kill himself and could survive?

Foo Fighters – These Days Lyrics 12 years ago
I have always found this song to be fascinating.. I always thought that it was about two people talking about the different ways to die. But as I look at the lyrics it almost seems like an argument with the Grim Reaper. The Grim Reaper(death) is the first verse and then the person fighting death starts in verse three. The fighter is saying that he is not going yet therefore Deaths heart will b e broken and pride will be stolen because he didn't claim another victim...

Keep in mind that in the song the verses are song in different tones... death is all calm, collective, and even sounds a little old. He is explaining the facts of death, while the person who is fighting death is yelling and very aggressive. This song is a complete package with the lyrics and the way it is sung go together hand in hand.
