The way she sounds like she's about to burst into tears breaks me heart... No one can cover this song and sing it with this much emotion... Favorite song on the album, probably favorite song from Taylor.. possibly favorite song EVER. I cried when I heard it for the first time. It got leaked onto YouTube and just... took my breath away. I cried that entire night just thinking of everything. I had doubts of it being Joe, since I don't recall him ever giving Taylor his shirt or anything. Then I got the album, and saw the message. Joe... you heartless, heartless boy. You lost one of the most amazing girls you'd EVER get. |

If all their songs sounded the same... people would be bitching like they do about Taylor Swift's songs. I like em all the same. They can change all they want. He's still got amazing skills as a songwriter. I do want more songs like "Jasey Rae", "Dear Maria, Count Me In", etc etc. but I love their newer songs as well. I have every single song and I can easily listen them on repeat. Still your opinion. Can't like em all, I guess. |

But it sounds all... not exactly apologetic? In the acoustic version you can hear all the emotion and people pay more attention to the message of the song and the lyrics. The original just sounds like a song where I don't really pay attention to the meaning, just sing along and dance to it. Meh, your opinion. The original is good too. I prefer the acoustic, still. |

| YESS. Acoustic was much better... This kind of music doesn't suit such a song. But, hey, I love acoustic versions of almost anything... It just adds more of the actual singer in it that way... otherwise it's all instruments and it blocks out some talent... I don't know lol... Just my opinion. I cried as well when I heard it... | |

| Actually, this wasn't written by Demi. It was also recorded before she went and got help. She said she tried re-recording it once she was out of rehab, but she just couldn't get the same emotion so they stuck with this. She said that even though she hadn't written it, she just HAD to sing it. She sung it while she was going through all that. No one really knows the meaning exactly behind it, but we all relate to it in some ways just like Demi did. I'm not a big Demi fan, but I wish she was picked up by someone other than Disney. I hate how she gets grouped with those other Disney girls, who's voices are auto-tuned to the max... She's got such a powerful and natural voice, it's amazing. I admire her and I'm so proud of her for what she did and what she's trying to do. She's a good person. She needs to get out of Disney and go record with a better company. She would make it much farther. | |
