A thousand bodies piled up... Yes, I think I get part of the song. I read somewhere that part of the story to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, is that he and the girl he loves are both dead. The girl makes it straight into heaven, but the man has to make up for all the wrong that he's done, and his redemption is to kill a thousand evil people. I forget wear I read it, but it starts to make sense now. Maybe, for example, the first verse is referring to him while he's still trying to redeem himself. Talking about how much he misses her and how he wants to see her or something, and that every day he misses her more and more...? |
