| I get a feeling from this song that I experienced back when things were turning to shit in my life. Listening to it reminded me of what I used to be like. I went through years of hard times and no one around me cared, even the doctor would make me feel like i wasted her time. things of course got worse. The result was that I went into a state of extreme self-abandonment, which isolated myself from important people in my life even more. I became my own worst enemy, hating myself for not being acceptable. In the singer's voice is a sound of painful memory or something unforgiveable or unforgettable. I also think there's a neediness in the words, like their asking for confirmation of the truth. | |

| I feel sad listening to these lyrics in my head. I have no idea where this band originated from. I only think about what this person has lost, which sounds to be too much to not be affected in a psychological way. I can relate to things happening in one's life that have such an effect. I could elaborate and hope to give others the same message by saying that a child only remembers what they know will be helpful in life, what is not going to be of any aid is soon dismissed and if not entirely forgotten, comes back like a ghost to haunt them in later years. This was my experience. I am now trying to forget, yet I have been told that this is not good to do, either. So I need to work on admitting to true events from the past then healing. Maybe that's what this song is about. | |

| This song has something about it that I recognised as a misguided youth. I hold respect for this chick, however she was to go about saying it she'd get to the point I'd reckon. | |

If anyone has evey been forcibly removed from family before then they would appreciate the sentiment of this song. There is more than just blood, sweat and tears within the theme here. The approach to the baby is as if it's dead. However, picture it being alive, taken for adoption. The mother is enduring the struggle herself and is also projecting into the future... Out there in the dark your little spirit is lost without a home Oh don't be afraid I'm thinking of you, no you'll never be alone Someday, somehow, when the time is right May an angel smile upon me and give you life ... So when the possibility of life comes back into the song I think there is a hope that the child will be rewarded by the love, joy and bonding that occurs during the bloody, sweaty, tearful process of childbirth is complete. It's like she was wishing for her child what she experienced before having lost them. This could apply in reverse, if an orphan considered the feelings of the parent, surely they would have wished for their parents another opportunity for creating life. I don't know for sure so anyone please share with me their ideas. I never wanted children until recently. I actually haven't thought about the issues surrounding unplanned births, adoption, miscarriage, abortion or still births as sensitively until now, assuming that parents were too irresponsible for having unexpected pregnancies that sometimes created these problems. But I have been blessed with the opportunity of creating life and would equally want everybody to be able to experience that joy. Beyond that there can only be honest intentions, else judgement is inevitable. |

When we could feed a starving world With what we throw away I appreciate this line most and it would be the united nations that I would hold accountable for the reasons that this cannot occur. If the world stays in a constant state of conflict without resolution, then no one has made the choice to change and every nation is collectively responsible. As individuals, the task ahead is to show other nations what our own nation lacks and get external support without being labelled as a traitor. |

Wisdom is so much more than what we know... ... There could be numerous other entities of wisdom, perhaps. What we feel? I have gotten myself in so much trouble For paying attention to how I feel. |

Ever been to the end of time? Been there once and swiftly timed. Turned around and went back home, Slipping back for years alone. But life still seems better today, Look at the sky see what I mean. You're afraid the sun could fall, And make this world so freezing cold. This spirit isn't mine at all, Someone else consumed it all, The soul inside me always bleeds, You see if we thought like this we'd all be free, yeah. There are eclipses up so high, They stare at me I ask the Why?[!] I'll climb the sky and smile your way, Just to keep your love cause I will pay. This spirit isn't mine at all, Someone else consumed it all, The sould inside me always bleeds, You see if we thought like this we'd all be free. Ever watched the soul escape in me? Ever watched the soul return in me? You will... ...I wish. |

| The lyrics are beautiful and it would havesounded equally enchanting if it weren't performed in such a pommy accent. No prejudice intended. | |

She and he were in touch for a period of time and got to know each other by more than words. It seems that the christian reference is a metaphor for something less immaculate, lust or maybe a small town perhaps. When he says "she flew to me on the red eye" this refers to either an intense emotional or spiritual state when they reached out to each other and were connected by an intwining circumstance, either a traumatic episode that she relived with him or maybe he brought her into his troubled world and she left 'with red eyes". He sais he thinks he's in heaven and refers to her as of young age. So he realises he cannot accept her age, innocence, whatever provokes him to call her eleven and "i guess it's over now" depicts a sense of grief and struggle with how the two related last time. I hope the melody is more inventive than the lyrics. Don't get me wrong, this band has a raw sound and have put together a decent film clip. I would love to hear one of their albums. |
