I have to disagree. I love this album, and I think there is a reason she chose this as the first track. I think she's saying she's "ensnared" by her mind, she feels trapped and suffocated, and she knows that her situation is caused by her mind, her thoughts, and her feelings. She wants to get fix the situation, she wants to feel peaceful, go to her "Eden". She's saying her eyes are wide open, but that she can hardly see, and will she be able to laugh, not cry? It seems as though she's optimistic, but uncertain about what lies ahead. Too many, too much, too far, help me, this time I went too far, gives the impression she has overwhelmed herself with what she is feeling. Of course, this is only my interpretation, I can't be sure what Kylie meant for sure, but it's a great song, just watched her do Say Hey on anti-tour - AMAZING love this album |
