To me this song means that either we're basically destroying ourselves or that we spend all of our time watching stupid tv shows and watching the 'news' if you want to call it that because sewriously they spend more time talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger's latest scandal and what Snooki did earlier that day instead of telling us things that really matter. For example, didn't Obama say that he would end the war and bring the soldiers home? Yet whenever the news does tell you something useful the main thing is 'so and so troops were killed' or someting like that. I also think that America is a country full of hyporcrites. Really, I do because we're a country based off of immigrants yet we're racist to almost every other person and we tell a people that they can't be here just because their religion is different or they dress a certain way. |

I seriously don't get why someone would call this song stupid or pointless. Relly, I don't. Maybe nothing like this has happened to you or someone that you know but imagine yourself as one of these girls and having to face what they face everday. This song might let them cling on to the any hope that they have left, that one day they will be free. |
