While I can see the angle of god speaking to him as a very solid interpretation of the song I like to see it in a different light. I feel it just perfectly captures the importance of accepting other people as human, that we are still the children we were born as and not above mistakes. The importance and the greatness of forgiveness for both the offended and the offender. His last line gives me a chill because I can't help but relate it to the idea of both parties expressing there soul to the fullest and understanding each other. I'm not Christian, but I fully support Jesus' message of forgiving others and loving them instead of growing angry at there trespasses. |
