I love this song. Whatever he is talking about worshiping, be it woman or man or thing... he is fully invested to the point of self-destruction. His church seemed rebellious, but innocent enough at first. "My lover's got humor She's the giggle at a funeral" It quickly becomes an all encompassing destructive force. Like any obsession it ultimately demands more and more. "That looks tasty That looks plenty This is hungry work" His church swallows him whole, but that's okay. Sexy as hell! |
