Kings of Leon – Radioactive Lyrics 13 years ago
When Caleb sings, "When the roll is called up yonder, I hope you see me there. It's in the water, It's where you came from." "Up yonder" refers to heaven. As someone else said, this line is from a gospel song.

The word, water, is a symbol for spirit. When Caleb repeats, It's in the water, he's saying that it's in your spirit, the spirit of where you came from which in this song means heaven or God. When he says, 'drink the water,' he's saying take in the spirit of God.

"You're the rose that was called from yonder, Never sold yourself away" means we are all beautiful spirits that came from heaven or God and never sold out to the world's greed and selfishness but remained a compassionate human who is lead by our compassionate spirit rather than our selfish ego.
