A Perfect Circle – Imagine Lyrics 14 years ago
I can't believe you fools are arguing over this song. The original is about Optimism, this one takes the Pessimistic side, such as if we as humans don't change then the world is going to keep going down this route and eventually fuck it self over.

Stop being asinine fucktards, you people are half the reason the planet is the way it is today...

A Perfect Circle – By and Down Lyrics 14 years ago
There's one mistake in the lyrics from what I hear. They both make sense, though.
"Targets crippled at the knee" Should be; "Caught his crippled Alchemy"

That being said I think this song is great but I'm having trouble trying to interpret it. :\

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pied_Piper_of_Hamelin

The Piper in the song is referring to the Pied Piper of Hamelin which is commonly used as a Metaphor for one that offers strong but delusive enticement or a charismatic person who attracts followers.

That's all I an really help with, I hope some more people have some insight.

Tool – Schism Lyrics 14 years ago
It's pretty simple to me. Basically I feel it's about how important communication is in a relationship, any relationship. Without proper communication the relationship is next to nothing.

"Cold silence has
A tendency to
Atrophy any
Sense of compassion

Between supposed brothers
Between supposed lovers"

That sums it up for me. No proper communication = a relationship that will slowly waste away to nothing, whether it be a "lover or brother"

Rebecca Black – Friday Lyrics 14 years ago
At first I was thinking DMT, which of course is smoked. Then as I got further into my interpreting I came to the conclusion that LSD was more likely, I just left the bong part in because it is a clear reference to drugs.

I believe this song is about drugs, LSD or something similar. May also be DMT.

"Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein' everything, the time is goin'
Tickin' on and on, everybody's rushin'
Gotta get down to the bus stop"

She wakes up and needs to have her "bowl" the primary piece of a water bong, which is what drugs are usually smoked from. "Cereal" is clearly a metaphor for the drug.

The "Tickin'" and "Rushin" are referring to your sense of time while high and how it is drastically altered and the intense body rush you get.

"7:45, we're drivin' on the highway"

This line describes LSD more so than DMT. Driving on the highway means she is well into her trip.

"Cruisin' so fast, I want time to fly"

She's now peaking.

"Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after wards"

This verse is probably most meaningful, but also the hardest to decipher. I haven't come up with the exact meaning of it yet but this is what I have so far:

These lines are referring to childhood, when we were still learning simple things. She's saying that when high on LSD, you are carefree, you don't worry about work/school or whatever, you are just one with nature and the world is beautiful. This is also what it's like to be a child.

Molly Hatchet – Fall Of The Peacemakers Lyrics 15 years ago
The verse:

"A Voice from the past cried "Give peace a chance"
He paid our price and he's free at last
And imagine we called Him a dreamer"

Is so clearly obvious it's about John Lennon and not Jesus fucking christ. I swear, Bahnsenite, you have to be trolling to think that it's about Jesus. Give Peace a chance, Imagine, Dreamer, all obviously John Lennon references.
