| Concrete Blonde – Tomorrow, Wendy (Andy Prieboy cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| You know, you guys are in a music forum arguing over the song being about a prostitute with AIDS. That is who the song was written for, but it is music. that doesnt mean that it is the songs only meaning. Everyone looks at the world differently. Music relates to each of us in a different way. This song may have many meaning. I personally love the song and in my life experiences, I have buried two children and a husband, in three different years, before the age of thirty. I see the meaning everyone else sees, and the view points. When I first listened to this song though, I felt that to me it meant that we will all die,, and wendy was going to die regardless. We have no control over the fact that death is inevitable. It is not about athiesm in my opinion. It is a person stating a fact in a manner more bluntly than most have the balls to do. People need to state their interpretations about the music and how they feel but dont bash on someone elses interpretation. A musician shares their music so others can have it impact the lives of others. So it doesnt matter how it is seen as long as it touched people. | |
