| Finger Eleven – Living in a Dream Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| to me I think this song is talking about someone from his past someone he loved but for some reason hes not with that person. So he keeps remembering that person thats why he keeps saying "I've been living in a dream about you" he keeps thinking about that person. apparently he figured out kind of late that he really did love this person alot and the feeling is so much he cant forget that person thats why I think he says "AND NOW I know you were all I ever wanted on my mind" thinking about this person just makes him feel good. Then he says "And if I never see My own reality Well, I'm okay to leave it all behind" apparently he understands that maybe he will never be with this person so hes ok and understands that. And the part that sums it all up is when he says "When I come down And look around I can't believe The fantasy is gone like a memory Out of my reach Fading out from me You're fading out from me" Then he comes out of his thinking and looks and still cant believe its over all those beautiful feelings he felt that person everything is gone...and that person is like a memory out of his reach he remembers that person but isnt anywhere near that person that person is gone thats when he says "your fading out from me" meaning time is passing and that persons memory is becoming blurrier and blurrier but I get the feeling he kind of doesnt want it to cause of the way that person makes him/her feel. Apparently thats a situation im in so maybe thats why I interpreted that way who knows... | |
