| Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics

Ok, the whole listening to it backwards thing is a bunch of bull shit. Robert Plant recorded it about a woman who gets everything she wants when she asks for it. She thinks everything that glitters is fancy and must have it. Aliester Crowley was a part of JIMMY PAGE'S life, the rest of Zeppelin weren't that interested in it. THEREFORE, the music side to it came from Jimmy and the band. LYRICS came from Planty
Jimmy Page wanted to write a song that started off sort of boring and light and then ended in this orgasmic feel. Boy did it work |

Soldier boy, made of clay
i'm not one to get smart on these because most of them are really simple. but I believe that what's meant to be said is that governments build up these soldiers, and shape them into this killing machine, "made of clay". these solid people that were created only to kill or be killed (I was born for dying). This song and most of ...And Justice for All really make me feel good, because Metallica wrote about conspiracy basically throughout their history.
Also how once your in the military, your stuck there. I love it how these guys noticed it too. |

| Misfits – Last Caress Lyrics

Guys what the hell? The Misfits were the most kick ass punk rock band ever formed. Glenn Danzig is a fucking boss. There's no meaning to this song. Odds are is that they were jamming in a garage drinking beer and thought it was funny to yell "I got something to say" into a microphone. Metallica's version is #2. Nothing beats the original. Metallica's is heavier, which is why i like it. |

Yeah, honestly. What the hell are you guys thinking about it being religious what-so-ever. Four Horsemen are seen as a heroic sort of figure. So the FOUR members of Metallica, used it. And it fucking worked. The most successful metal band of all time. |

This song is straightforward for meaning, like Creeping Death. Honestly, I'm not here to comment on what the song's about. We all know. I'm here to comment on HOW FUCKING HEAVY THE GUITARS ARE. "A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica" documentary has a clip of James doing the chords, it sounds fucking awesome |

ok its not too tough to know that this song is about a soldier who gets his legs and arms blown off and he loses nearly all of his senses due to a landmine. its all there in the last verse. Landmine/Has taken my sight/Taken my speech/Taken my hearing/Taken my arms/Taken my legs. And how he wants to commit suicide because he's lliving off of machines and suffering. |

This song is a ballad told in the eyes of someone in an insane asylum, or sanitorium, hence the name "sanitarium". About a man who plans on taking over and breaking out "Mutiny in the air". btw Awesome solo, awesome song altogether |
