Melora Creager – Sky Is Falling Lyrics 15 years ago
Natural disasters, I guess. It emphasizes mass hysteria of people during these times as they think the Final Judgement day is coming. However, natural disasters occur and we don't know what to make of it, that's why there's hysteria. People don't understand so they freak out. I think that pretty much covers it. I'm not sure of the specific disaster occurances she speaks about.

I love this. I quote it all the time. <3 I also love how Melora has fun with it and puts emphasis in different places.

Rasputina – Dark February Lyrics 15 years ago
I love this song. It's just so beautiful.

Well, I think it's about being stuck in the cold. The coldness of life will follow wherever the people go and until it warms up, they won't open their hearts to anyone. They sit together freezing until the weather of life changes. I'm not sure, but it has beautiful imagery and poetry. <3

This is confusing but it makes me laugh. Ah Melora, what an odd sense of humor she has.

Rasputina – My Little Shirtwaist Fire Lyrics 15 years ago
Not paying attention in school has absolutely nothing to do with this song. Yes, it can be said it is about the triangle fire. However, if you've ever heard Melora or heard music, you'll know that the meaning is whatever the listener interprets it as and there are many possibilities as each person has a different history and background. They bring with them the knowledge that they know, therefore, the song means differernt things to different people. That's what makes this music beautiful <3

Me too!
Except I watch the Buffy episodes with subtitles on, during the first few seasons they would tell you what song was playing in the subtitles. I wrote it down and searched for it on YouTube. That was June of this year. I've been in love and obsessed ever since! I even attended a concert in July <3 ahhh

Marilyn Manson – Apple Of Sodom Lyrics 15 years ago
Rasputina is the only reason I listen to the song. They complete it. I've listened to the song without them and it could never be the same. Love Melora<3

Rasputina – Crosswalk Lyrics 15 years ago
I love this song because I can related to it so much. It it kind of a haze but have you really walked anywhere with a broken heart? You can't help but this of that person and you walk and you walk and you walk. It helps relieve only some of the pain but it still helps.

I'm definately thinking a past lover but it feels like a politician. Like maybe a mayor or some other figure. Papers, press. Just my opinion.

Rasputina – Remnants Of Percy Bass Lyrics 15 years ago
It reminds me of "Oh, Injury" someone losing their life because their health has gone awry. Alzheimer's would make sense.

Rasputina – My Captivity by Savages Lyrics 15 years ago
What bothers me about this song is that it is so intriguing I want to know more...and it's not a real (or at least finished and published) book. It really makes me sad. It'd be an interesting read :D

Rasputina – Doomsday Averted Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it was the artistic side of her music. Instead of having many lyrics to go with, just having the twists and turns of the music. It's quite interesting and one of my favorite songs. I think she tried writing a song with "Doomsday Averted" but didn't get anywhere because of the "rhymes with Tuesday" at the end. XD always good for a laugh.

Rasputina – Holocaust of Giants Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm pretty sure it's "there were giants in our midst" not "There were giants and now amiss."
First to comment! Woo! This is probably my favorite song on this album. I love Rasputina! <3
