I sort of think that he's singing about that old saying 'pity the living not the dead' "and I may just waste away from doing nothing But you're a martyr for even less" I think he's saying that it's so easy to die, its just bang, lights out. But we the living are struggling on in life and slowly withering away, we endure pain and grief but the boy who died (or committed suicide) is still seen as a hero. |

I don't really know what he means by this song, but at the line 'feel afraid to wait forever' I feel like he's saying that we should feel scared of life. Which sort of makes sense, since we're born we just go on and live our life without stopping to think twice about what we're in for. But he's saying that we should feel scared, we are just going to be waiting for our death, we get born and after a long time we die, so we are just waiting and we'll be waiting forever. Well thats what I hear, it's such a great song, I almost die when the chorus comes on! ndlkdwedlqskwldkasfghl *sobs* It's so good! |
