The National – Graceless Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Can anyone interpret the "There's a science to walking through windows" line for me? I feel like I'm missing something. |

The National – Afraid of Everyone Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I hear: Venom radio and venom television I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone Lay the young blue bodies, with the old red bodies I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my kid on my shoulders I try Not to hurt anybody I like But I don't have the drugs to sort, I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out I defend my family with my orange umbrella I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my shiny new starspangled tennis shoes on I'm afraid of everyone, I'm afraid of everyone With my kid on my shoulders I try Not to hurt anybody I like But I don't have the drugs to sort, I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out I don't have the drugs to sort it out, sort it out You're the voices swallowing my soul, soul, soul. |

The National – England Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I agree the lyrics are off, but if you're going to be so critical at least get the part you're correcting right "Someone send a runner through the weather that I'm under for the feeling that I lost today" "Someone send a runnder through the feeling that I lost today" |
The National – Sorrow Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I'm now pretty sure the line is: "sorrow's a girl inside my cake" Which makes a lot more sense (to me anyway) |
The National – Sorrow Lyrics | 14 years ago |
