This song; to me, is about Damien, (the devil) getting him high and making him kill his friends but because he's high he doesn't know who they are. It may represent mistakes or friends falling apart. D seems to be very symbolic in all of his songs. What I think is more likely is that it's saying when you kill once you have to kill again. |

| Mindless Self Indulgence – Molly Lyrics

It's about A girl, Molly, that was normal in front of everyone else, she tried to seem innocent. But she did drugs. She od'd and died in the bathroom. I considered it was because she committed suicide. But when he says liar, that doesn't make sense. If he said Molly was a normal girl and she knew the reason's why she was a liar then it would be about suicide. Instead since drugs are seen as being "bad" she did the drugs and died from it after going into the bathroom, parting from her parents or friends to do the drugs. Think about it it's not about people lieing, nor is it about masturbation, she can't die from that. And why would she be bad for bulimia? Think about this viewpoint and take EVERY WORD INTO CONSIDERATION! There may be undertones, but I've yet to think of any. |

Your wrong. She od'd. She went into her bathroom to do drugs. What would the good girl part come from? Honestly it just seems like your wrapped up in your own shit. |

Hate anti flag. And that song was stupid, it didnt open up anyone's fucking mind doucher, they dress like punks, dont sing like punks, play like punks, and sold out to a major band label. If anything they're the most "by the book" than anyone. |

EXACTLY! I believe in anarchy, and a punk's idea of small independent labels and I believe in that shit, I came to punk for that reason, not for any other. I love the music, but that's different. I like a lot of shit, I like some rap even. More underground shit though, like leak bros or cage, ill bill. Who says you have to only listen to punk? Who says you have to dress like one, I have a green jacket with like 3 band patches, and that's it, granted I wish to get a few more articles of clothing over this summer such as bondage pants and band shirts and what not. It probably doesn't even matter to you anymore, because this was in 2003 (I don't think we even had the internet at 2003) all I know is I love punk, and hate that everyone fights over what is and isn't punk when we should just be unified. Hell I'm a catholic. |

| Jimmie's Chicken Shack – Dead Sleep Lyrics
| 16 years ago

Maybe...he's talking of society in general. We stab others in the back, and we can look how ever we want "you give good face you've got so many" meaning we can put on many false faces for different situations, i came close but this might be a little weird. Because in the beginning he talks about pulling the knife out of his back, still alive. Then he says I think ill sleep when I'm dead. Conforming that he was talking about the society in general. Because of this, their not talking literal, because the few that have to be stepped on, (those stabbed in the back) werent killed because it says ill sleep when I'm dead, now he's lazy theres nothing left to do, his MOTIVATION was drained when his loyalty was ended with an abrupt stab in the back. Then we just put on another face to cover it up.
YOU DONT HAVE TO READ THROUGH ALL OF THAT THAT WAS JUST MY ANALYSIS READ THE VERY END! |

| Jimmie's Chicken Shack – Lazy Boy Dash Lyrics

First, my favorite song. Maybe ever, There's something, extremely soothing about Jimmie's chicken shack. But this song takes the cake. In my mind it's about, a guy who was "started" (interested) in a girl but they're over now. Hence, Don't get me started / Don't get me started again. He doesn't want to deal with the pain in the dating game. The son you better get up part is most likely about not his dad talking to him, but maybe deeper down, even religous wise, it says "Miracle" (by the way just realizing this now) maybe its god. giving him a second chance at love. Because it says, "son you better get up," son meaning since god is the father, the son being man. And he's told he has another chance, but it'll take a miricle to get him started, so he doesnt take that second chance. He kills himself, I know it's my smoke they are tasting
Damn another tragic jam
I know I;m s'posed to use my brake
So on the gas I slam
Meaning he committed suicide. The miracle was only a miracle, and wouldn't ever happen to him. He killed himself because he had a broken heart, and grew lazy because it, but in a sense maybe lazy as in, dead. Maybe even his songs are linked together, because in the song dead sleep, he says "i think ill sleep when I'm dead" meaning in the first lazy boy he was dead and its going back (THIS IS WAAYYYYY OUT THERE AND IM HALF ASLEEP) |

| Suicidal Tendencies – Nobody Hears Lyrics
| 16 years ago
|
I love this song, but the first verse is very important.
I talk through my eyes, the words pourin' down
Nobody hears
You ask me what's wrong, but what can I say
Nobody hears
I think that means he has a parent (or girl). That is asking him why hes crying (obviously he cares about them or he wouldn't just let his emotions out in front of them). But HE DOESNT ""WANT"" to open up. But it could mean two things, either he opened up and they rejected him, or that hes opening up to someone else because a gf left him. Hence,
So what did I do to you
That makes you run from me
Now I'm sitting here screaming inside myself
Don't understand why nobody hears |

I know most songs do have undertones, sometimes subliminal. Could you tell me what the undertones are of this song? |
