I must be the only one that likes both this song and pink maggit I think this song is equally as brilliant and almost tells the opposite of the Pink Maggit. as if "the page has turned" and now he has woken up and is fighting for every other pink Maggit .I think when he wrote pink maggit he didnt know which way to go. As the world needs both sides to his epiphany. I think he felt the way Pink maggit did for a long time and Woke up one day Transposed himself(put himself on the other side of the equation) and became his own man Dont be a hatte i think that goes against both songs Chino wrote especially pink maggit |

The reason churchy radio stations wont play this song- People in high places are the Churches leadership This is a cheeky shot at the lack of leadership that existence in the church, not willing to face actual persecution to make a change or take large action to generate it None are prophet like, and none stand taking a radical positive movement towards humanity (unlike noah and Moses) Holy Father, what's the matter? This song is about how its ethically accepted and promoted for people to hand money to the media (a company making money of these crimes), to read about crimes committed at the highest level, industrial, economical global, political (making money at the expense of peoples lives). After these company's Fall on there own frodulent sord during there quest for evermore lust greed and glory, The men that head the company's, never seem to enter the picture portrayed by the media. They escape with millions of dollars or jump to next scheme before anyone knows. The company's held at fault. Human responsability is not even contimplated. These CEOs are saved as they are wraped in bureaucracy. Crimes are commited yet we the people do not have the right to know who are these exceedingly rich people pulling the fiscal strings in the shadows of the CEOs. This band was well before its time... also it cost 125million dollars to run for American president.....and it pays 400grand a year.......CEOs rule America the President is either one, or a puppet. |

Funny I read most of these meanings and ive had this song from the very beginning, it meant something totally different to me Maybe it is common for other ex Soldiers. I think this song is pointing out the fact that In war everyone is quick to take sides and declare why they are more morally correct… …. But nobody points out how morally correct it is to have soldiers die for these sides. Fighting the battles. SOAD is publicly Taking a side But not a countries The soldier’s side. Where there is no one else but me” Refering to SOAD on the side of the soldiers The name of the song On the soldiers side…..Soad on the soldiers side …..rest is pretty strait forward |
