| here is what this song is about. i am living proof that this song has a meaning. i have a daddy. no he is not a sugar daddy or a father who gave birth to me. he is a man who is much older then i am and who is weirdly in love with me. i like when he calls me his baby and he loves me calling him daddy. this is the crime that our love is strange. i am only 5'3 110 pounds. i am from overseas. look sixteen at times but can look mature. and this daddy that i have is the only person that i need. he is my all and everything. however, he has had other lovers that have not been what he thought and wanted and perhaps i am the one. maybe not. but what this man is looking for is a girl, (legal age). who wants to be taken care of whether she is married to him or just a lover. he wants to be her daddy and yes, i have accepted being his baby, and as weird as it may sound, it is a love that will withstand time because it is honest and pure. people make think that it is a crime, but is there truly a crime when you love someone legally? so, its not about a man wanting a child. in fact daddy already has kids. its not about a man wanting to diaper a baby and or breastfeed. its about a man who wants this baby to only need him even if shes in hmm....lets say Flordia persay and hes in another state.....she will always call him and need him and no one else no matter how many lovers or men she has. but, i think towards the end, he may be stating that she doesnt want her to have any other lovers but him...i will let you know when daddy and i resolve our differences.....btw. you should really try the whole daddy baby thing if your love life is going sour....its hot and builds lust. btw, everyone get over the fact that george michael is crucifying gays or sugar daddies. this song is truly about a man who is in love and a love that is way different then any other love...so next time you are at home wondering why you have no sex life? maybe its because you put a limit on love? | |

Listen closely, I will tell you about this man, they call "smooth operator".... He is a western male, and he has many gigs, all of which are bi-coastal, hence the 'LA to chicago, and key Largo". He would like to think he is a playboy, but be careful, it is an illusion that really doesnt exist. This male is late 50's and let's be honest, "viagra". However, he has a charm that can't be denied, but will quickly lose its play as the relationship grows. He moves with minimal space becuz he wants you as his lover to believe that he is very frugal and "righteous'. This, will make you feel inferior because you have been superficial and or as the rest of society calls it "normal" most of your life.Anyway, once he has control over you, and he knows each one of these women case by case, as stated in the song. He finds a home for you, preferably chicago, Los Angles, and or Flordia, whereever he sees you fitting. He will be your daddy, but you, the women will make him millions with all the men you acquire. The problem with smooth operator, is, one, he is getting old....Ive made love to him....he looks older then he is. | I know exactly what and who this song is for and about..... I think it is about a man who has spent his life building an empire. An empire that consisted of symbiotic relations ( one-sided). He has used persay, women to build this structure he calls "heaven". However, there is one particular person that he needs in order to complete his superficial exitisence...However, this individual has no clue that she is somewhat the missing link to his success(s)....(mind you, this is what he feels success is). Therefore, as he may be off to sleep, while this so called person is off living it up....he wants her to be the one to end his emptiness and countless lovers that never gave him what he needed....only what he wanted...(money). But, maybe this women, who has been off in the places with painted faces (strippers, sex, etc), is able to notice him; since she has always noticed the ones who are out at nite, living it up....In other words, for all his wrong doings in life, this man, is portraying someone (this woman) as a bad person even though she has been doing what he wanted her to do all along.
